Thermal environment analysis for the optimal operation of combined convection and radiant air conditioning considering dehumidification

The use of radiant panels in homes has increased recently because they do not cause a drafty feeling, unlike air conditioners. However, conditioners are more power-efficient than and have higher coefficient performance (COP). Therefore, combining conditioning can provide an optimal solution for thermal control residences. Energy simulation (ES) computational fluid dynamics (CFD) be used to simulate such environments. ES is suitable non-steady state calculations, combined with appropriate modeling, enables accurate estimation power consumption. Effective dehumidification becomes necessary, during summer as the relative humidity room increases. Both achieve this. This study developed tool that incorporates effects dehumidification. Based on evaluation, case was proposed where both energy efficiency comfort were satisfied by jointly using panels. found small number could most balanced operation. results this serve reference general housing, applied product development building material design.
